Good Bye Tech Nation

Tech Nation

It's with a bit of a heavy heart that we're bidding farewell to Tech Nation. As a finalist in their Rising Stars competition back in 2019, we at Filmily owe them a lot for helping us get off the ground. Through all their programs, we've felt the love and support of an incredible community of tech enthusiasts who, like us, are passionate about changing the world through innovation.

Over the years, Tech Nation has been a kickass ally to thousands of UK startups. Whether it's mentorship, funding, or getting access to a network of industry experts, they've got your back from ideation to commercialisation. They've always been there to lend a helping hand to anyone who dares to dream big and go for it.

Despite all their accomplishments, Tech Nation is closing down at the end of this month. It's a sad day, sure, but we're not going to let that rain on our parade. We're going to keep the party going and continue to support the next generation of startups who are going to take over the world.

We want to give a special shout-out to the South West team of Esme Caulfield, Matt Exley, Vicky Hunter, Ama Williams and lots of others. You guys rock, and we appreciate all the blood, sweat, and tears you've poured into helping us succeed.

Tech Nation has played a crucial role in supporting the tech industry in the UK, and we are sad to see it go. However, we are grateful for the impact it has had on our journey as a startup, and we will continue to carry on its legacy by supporting the next generation of entrepreneurs and startups as we scale up.

Thank you, Tech Nation, for all that you have done, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavours.

But wait, there's more! We're not just here to wax poetic about Tech Nation. We're here to tell you about what we do as a business! Filmily is a SaaS-based fan engagement platform. Our service helps sports and music venues, festivals and brands create personalised video experiences for their audience. We're all about helping our clients build stronger relationships with their audience and grow their business by using the power of fan based video and images.

So, there you have it, folks! We're sad to say goodbye to Tech Nation, but we're excited for what the future holds. We're going to keep crushing it, and we hope you do, too. Thanks for being awesome!
